Well Done to Kenmare man Stephen O’Brien for making the Kerry Team

The Kerry team to play Cork in the McGrath Cup Senior Football Final in Mallow on Sunday shows two changes from the team that defeated CIT in the semi final on Sunday last – Brian Kelly replaces Brendan Kealy in goal and Peter Crowley starts in the half back line instead of Brian Maguire. Aidan O’Mahony and Paul Geaney are among those added to the substitutes list.

Save Our Ambulance Kenmare presents petition to public representatives

The Save Our Ambulance Kenmare group has presented a petition signed by 8,500 people.

Radio Kerry:
SOAK was set up in April in response to what the group claims is the HSE’s plans to reduce the ambulance service in the Kenmare area. Ahead of a private meeting with the HSE in Killarney today, the group presented its petition with 8,500 signatures to deputies Tom Fleming and Brendan Griffin, and Cllr Patrick Connor-Scarteen.
