Order of Business 21/1/16: The Lack of Funding for the Development of Rural Ireland

The Irish Medical Organization has warned that 20% of GPs will be gone in the next 5 years.

Furthermore, there is the closure of rural post offices throughout the country.

The initial government government response to the Future of Ireland report by Pat Spillane was to give the same amount of money to the issue as the they gave to the care of horses in urban areas. The government is failing rural communities.
