Kerry County Council senior officials have been asked to visit the village following an invitation by Sneem Development Co-Op and I. The aim of the meeting is to highlight the unacceptable state of the roads and footpaths in the village, a situation that was identified by the report of the tidy town judges this year. The Sneem Development Co-Op has done great work throughout the years and the lack of progress on the infrastructure is unacceptable. Kerry County Council engineers have agreed to try and secure some funding as part of this years council budget. Councillor Michael Cahill at a recent meeting of Kerry County Council organised for the Sneem Development COOP to make a presentation to the next meeting of the Killorglin Local Electoral Area meeting.
