Public lighting in Castlecove is to be addressed

The issue of public lighting in Castlecove is a major concern for residents and is a serious safety issue.   During the construction of a development in the village, public lighting was removed and has not been replaced.  I have called on the Kerry County Council to examine the situation with regard to the public lighting. The Council have stated that although this area is a private site, they have made a claim on the bond of €238,140 and will now pursue the issue.
